The Bike to Kite Fly ride routes nine miles to the Wayne County Fairgrounds. At Fairgrounds we may pick up more bicyclists and ride back to Elstro Plaza catching a bit of the Cardinal Greenway.

The bike ride is free as its sponsors make this a community event that all can take part. Ride is a nine mile route and a somewhat easy one only having 2 hills. The route takes a mix of city streets, some turf, and paved bike paths. Riders need helmets, and water.

All riders can move at their own pace and are not required to complete the route. A sag driver with a trailer or pick-up truck will aid any in need with a free ride back to start at Elstro as well as Fairgrounds. There’s a 9:30 a.m. social hour at Elstro Plaza with free coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and cookies for the first twelve to arrive.
