Want to get a safe and close-up view of the sun in preparation for our upcoming eclipses? Come on out to Elstro Plaza to use a telescope during the day to view the sun! This unique opportunity will give you an opportunity to see sunspots firsthand.
Astronomer Dr. Wes Tobin will demonstrate safe sun viewing in preparation for eclipses. You will have a chance to ask questions, and each participant will leave with a pair of eclipse glasses. Participants may also be interested in our earlier program “
Solar Eclipse 101 with IU East Astronomer Dr. Wes Tobin” on Oct. 11 from 6-7 p.m. at the Library.
